SONJA LILLEBÆK CHRISTENSEN is an indescribable fantastic contemporary explorer who takes her camera into hidden places of the Everyday World to bring out profound, and tender humoristic, documentaristic tales revealing ways of living that are hidden for most of us even though they are taking place just around the next corner.

See pictures from the Alternative Art Fair alt_cph 2007 that took place 21-23 September here. DUNK! thanks the staff at the Fair for their great effort to make it all run in a funky and friendly atmosphere.

We look forward to open our space again the 1st. of November with the exhibition "Space Invaders" by Louise Sparre.

DUNK! INDIAN SUMMER UPDATE
After a long wet summer DUNK! is now ready for the autumn season 2007. Our first show at the DUNK exhibition space will be in October because of some reconstruction in the complex we´re located at. The show will be a solo exhibition by the young Danish artist Louise Sparre.

In the meantime we once again will show new works at the alternative artfair in Copenhagen (22-24 September 2006) Opening 21. September 2pm .

DUNK! FORMEL 1
DUNK! is proud to present new paintings by the upcoming Danish painters Rasmus Lütken and Jakob Rød.

Rasmus Lütken is a profound fabulous surrealistic formalistic humorist who keeps a perfect balance between colors and form in some marvelous far-out cartoon like paintings in which every-day-life walks dreamlike on the edge of the abyss.

Jakob Rød is a super conceptual painter who by simple moves creates some of the coolest and breathtaking beautiful paintings on the art scene right now in a style where pop is confronted with the purest form of zen.

Opening Reception: Thursday, may 24, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
The exhibition is open from Friday, May 25, until Sunday, June 24, by appointment or every Thursday from 10: a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

DUNK! Is moving from Krimsvej to Vaerkstedsvej 6, 2500 Valby.
Thanks to all participating artist for their good spirit and to all visitors, collectors, papers etc. who took the time to see, buy and write about our exhibitions the past 1 ½ year. We're glad for the great interest there has been and hope to see you at our new place.
DUNK! Has invited several artists to make an editions for DUNK!. Some of the participating artist are Hartmut Stockter (D), Thomas Fleron (DK), Jesper Just (DK). The editions will soon be launched at our website filed under 'Editions'.
